IN SUMMARY REMEMBER THAT
- Start by giving a small amount of supplement, for example one or two grams per day.
- Increase the amount by one or two grams each day, no more.
- It is not a problem if you reach the daily amount recommended by the nutritionist in 10 or 15 days.
- Always mix the supplement very well with the meal; do not leave it on top of the food because this would reduce its palatability.
- For dogs and cats with particularly fussy tastes, dividing the daily amount of supplement between meals could help them take it.
